Typical cost

Our usual fee for self employment / partnership accounts and a Self Assessment Tax Return is between £250 and £800 per year.

What's included?

If you're new to self employment we can help you register with HMRC and submit your Tax Return annually. 

We will prepare your self employment accounts from your core records (cashbook, bookkeeping software, invoices/receipts or bank statements).

We know it is important to be as tax efficient as possible so we will ensure that everything is done to reduce your tax liabilities to a legal minimum, including:

  • Maximising capital allowance claims on cars/equipment.

  • Reviewing the most appropriate year end date for you business.

  • Claiming all possible business expenditure including claims (e.g. use of home, laundry, motor costs).

  • Advising on reliefs available e.g. pension contributions and savings allowance.

  • Allocation of income to your spouse or civil partner who may pay a lower rate of tax.

  • Reviewing your tax payments on account to ensure they are appropriate.


We will discuss the accounts with you so you fully understand them and advise you of the tax liabilities that have arisen, if any.

You can also rest assured that there will be no extra fees from us should HMRC enquire into your tax affairs - we will correspond with HMRC on your behalf free of charge.
